But you need practical training and support to do it.
With our online course, The Green Office Roadmap, you can create a healthier and more environmentally-friendly workplace.
Tell me if this sounds familiar
- Frustrated because you want to make some changes but don’t know where to start
- Discouraged because past eco-friendly initiatives have floundered and failed
- So busy at work that you don’t have the time or energy to take on an extra project
- Unsure what types of initiatives will have enough environmental impact to be worth the effort
- Afraid that you can’t “sell” the idea to your boss or employees?
Well, you are in luck because I understand your struggles
I can still remember stepping into the role of Director of Sustainability almost 20 years ago (!) naively thinking that all I had to do was convince my co-workers of the value of sustainability, along with facts of how to do it, and poof – they would all be eager jump on board.
Boy, was I wrong. I had run smack into the challenges of change management. A painful but valuable lesson.
How to do it right
No amount of convincing will work if you don’t have a clear vision of where you want to go, the steps laid out how to get there, and the buy-in of those who willing to take the journey with you.
Yes, you need a roadmap.

A Note from Me to You
Many of you have been here before.
The typical sustainability planning scenario is that strategic planning consultants, including me!, charge is $10,000-100,000 to: facilitate brainstorming, guide you through expansive impact analysis, and leave you to an action plan. And often the actual cost is double or triple the consultant fee when combined with a retreat and attended by lots of staff.
Only a select few have the time and resources to hire consultants. That leaves many companies with good intentions lost and stuck with few options besides sporadic trial and error.
We simply don’t have the luxury of inaction.
